The Sovereign Order of Malta celebrates St. John the Baptist in Rhodes

The patron saint of the Order of Malta, St. John the Baptist, was celebrated on Saturday 22nd June 2024 with a Mass in the Church of Our Lady of Victory in the city of Rhodes. This year’s celebration was held in the island of Rhodes due to the desire of H.E. Ambassador Luca Rovati to make the Order present in the most relevant places in Greece and to remember the presence of the Knights on the island.
The mass was held in the presence of Most Reverend, Theonas, Archimandrite- Primate of the Holy Metropolis of Rhodes, Mr. George Hatzimarkos-Regional Governor of South Aegean and Dr. Mania Michaïlidou – Emeritus Director of the Ephorate of Antiquities, Dodecanese, Dodecanese. The liturgy was accompanied by the soprano Corinna Panza.
